Reviews and Ratings
I stayed on the second floor above the bar below, facing Willis St Despite road works causing some noise late at night and early morning, my room was relatively quiet. It was nice and clean, and housekeeping made sure it was well-prepared each day. The hotel's service was top-notch, with great accommodation and everything needed for a relaxing night in. The staff were nice, friendly, and always helpful. The location was perfect for my needs, being close to major tourist attractions, bus stops for further travel, and the bustling Wellington CBD. The room was clean but a bit small for my liking. The dining experience was good; although I expected a set menu option with a hot drink, the quality was still top-notch. The facilities were well worth the price, with generous dishes and a convenient location for exploring central Wellington.
The hotel is in a great location with lots of restaurants nearby. The rooms felt a bit dirty and noisy from the street and rooftop bar, though earplugs were provided. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the staff were helpful when we had questions or problems. The dining experience was good, but options were limited. Overall, it was quite a handy location, although some cleanliness issues were noticeable.
The hotel rooms felt like something straight out of a 1970's cheap motel with the required amenities. It was just right for the nights we spent there, but we had to endure loud banging on doors outside at night from other parties, and there was no heating on. The service with wifi which works well in the lobby was fantastic, and the staff are friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location included in the price was good-in the city near a food market and all we wanted to see in a weekend time, but it was very small and hard to maneuver a car, and noisy on Friday and Saturday, disturbed by a jackhammer at 7 am. The dining experience was pretty good at the Arborist. Facilities were basic but sufficient.
The hotel has a convenient location near the city center, making it accessible by transport and close to all the key attractions. The rooms, although not as reflected in the website photos, are spacious and equipped with a comfy bed and soundproof windows. However, being above a traffic intersection and right outside the elevator can lead to some noise disturbances. The service was good overall, with secure parking provided, but there were instances of forgetfulness such as not replenishing shampoo. The dining options were limited, so opting for nearby cafes might be a better choice. The facilities were decent, with an attached bistro available for meals.
The hotel room was fantastic with a comfy bed and all the essentials, although it was a shame we only stayed for one night. The room, despite being on the 3rd floor, lacked a view and was a bit dated but clean. The surprise of facing more stairs after exiting the car park was a downside.
The hotel is situated in a bustling part of the city, and while it lacked soundproofing, the staff were pleasant and very efficient. The location is central, making it convenient for my visit to Wellington. However, the rate seemed a bit high considering the dirty windows and proximity to the out vents.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, with friendly staff and a comfortable bed, but unfortunately, the noise from outside was a major downside. The room was a bit small for two single beds, and the overall experience was affected by the roadworks noise. However, the central location made it convenient for exploring the city.
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to everything, though not overly impressive. The rooms were a bit dated but still acceptable, with some minor maintenance issues. Service was friendly and helpful, though with a touch of passive aggressiveness. The dining experience had some issues, but staff tried to make up for it. The hotel's facilities could be cleaner and more well-maintained.
